If it's October, we're in Cyprus

It's a funny feeling when all of a sudden you have an opportunity to travel to a foreign country which was never ever in your plans. It just comes unexpectedly and you don't really know wether you should be excited or rather indifferent, wether you should prepare yourself, check out Lonely Planet or familiarize yourself with some fact & figures about that country... It is some sort of an emotional confusion, because you know you will travel somewhere but there was no inpatient waiting and reading guides and picking must-see places. It's like getting an award you didn't fully deserve.

However, this time I tried not to panic about this lack of travel preparation, which is, in my case, always an absolute must prior to travelling, and simply enjoy whatever that new place brings on a current basis.

Little and compact, with mild climate, cedrus and lime trees in the air, Cyprus is a small, half grek, half turkish island in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, with it's capital in Nicosia.
