12.02. DAY 3 ----- 1st day in Barca !!!!

### MONDAY ###

After we checked Barbera and Sabadell we decided to conquer one of the most popular European cities - BARCELONA. To get there from Barbera takes only about 20 minutes by train. First place we visited was: Arc de Triumf and the long promenade surrounded with palm trees, which we were crazy about with Steffi - we were taking photos with these trees all the time !!! :)

Sometimes I could feel like in Poland - this picture resembles my city a little bit (of course if it would be without the palm tree in the middle).

Take a closer look at the termometer - it was 22*C ! Craze !

We had tapas in one of the restaurants in the centre - this time we didn't eat octopus, but I couldn't help myself and I had to take the photo of this delicious creature ;)

The greatest market with food I've ever seen, they had the biggest strawberries I've eaten, loads of spanish meat, everything fresh and tempting !

We were heading to the port - finally we reached the monument of Christopher Columbus, we even (hardly) climbed one of the Lions.

Was it a City hall? Whatever it was, one thing is sure - It was certainly a good looking building accompanied of course by our beloved P A L M T R E E S !

We wanted to go to Balearian Islands but we couldn't decide which one would be the best, so finally we just passed up ;]




huge shopping mall Mare Magnum. We checked the toilet - I left my signature on the wall full of signatures. Mariona said that I behave like a kid :D NOOOOOT !

We found this weird sculpture which for only 1 euro tells You the truth about You after reading from your hand (of course we had serious problem, how to put the hand into the whole, but the machine didn't mind and printed the paper before we found out how it works).
After we discovered what is our future to be like, we decided to take the photos in the machine. We had much fun trying to sit down in this tiny shed.


Steffi was very inspired by Karate Kid, actually she was staring in the Karate Kid 6, but they never released this episode. She was so fast that the camera couldn't record her :D (You know Lil it's a joke, so laugh, cause I have a vein right now ;) )
It's a submarine, wooden. Wonder where they found it...
This is a sculpture called: "The Face of Catalunya". Girlz said it looks more like an ass :) LOL
Once a year the City hall is opened for visitors and we were lucky to see it, although we couldn't take the photos with a flesh. Without a flesh it's nothing special...




We wanted to take the key to the city but didn't know which one is right one... besides - we didn't notice any problems with getting into the city :

11.02. Sabadell and dinner with Mariona's Familly

***SUNDAY***

First of all - we were sleeping till the early afternoon...
But hey - we deserved it without any doubt ! :)

We ate dinner outside, on the balcony, because it was really warm.

Below - two pictures from Sabadell, where we wandered through the main street, Ramblas and bought a lot of quasi-haribo in Gumin's shop :)

In the evening, according to Catalan tradition, we had dinner alltogether. I must say that catalan food is the best I've ever eaten. No kiddin' ! Jordi and Anna in their living room

Even though the food was delicious, I think I couldn't live there, because after one month I could join SUMO and compete with them... :D
